Welcome to Club Liverpool
The Friendly Club

 

The John Edmondson V.C. Memorial Club (Club Liverpool) has been established since the 19th July 1947. The Club was named after Corporal Jack (John) Edmondson of the 2/17th A.I.F Battalion, the first Australian serviceman awarded the Victoria Cross during World War II.

 

Club Liverpool is located in the heart of the Liverpool CBD with entry via 185 George Street or 196 Macquarie Street Mall.
Members parking is available and we are close to public transport so it is the ideal spot to catch up with friends.

 

Dine in the 2170 Bar and Grill open Tuesday to Friday for Lunch and Dinner and Saturday for Dinner or the Hennessy on Macquarie Café which is open 7 Days until late, entrance via Ground Floor of Club Liverpool. Please note - The Public Entrance for Hennessey on Macquarie Café at 196 Macquarie St, Liverpool NSW 2170 is temporarily relocated due to renovations.

 

Enjoy a drink in one of our Bars or Lounge areas whilst you relax with friends or catch up in the Macquarie Lounge offering Outdoor TAB and Keno facilities. Club Liverpool offers plenty of Entertainment - Live Music with Soloists Every Friday from 4.30pm, Rock n Roll Saturday nights on the
1st & 4th Saturday of every month, Variety Day Show concerts, Members Rewards Parties, Members Promotions and Weekly Raffles,
plus plenty more..

At Club Liverpool your Safety & Comfort is our number one priority.

We have a registered COVID-19 Safety Plan and are committed to ensuring the Club meets all government imposed COVID-19 safety requirements in order to deliver our Members and Visitors a safe environment.

Whilst visiting the Club we ask that you follow the following COVID-19 safety guidelines to help us maintain a safe environment for all.

These include:
- All Members & Visitors will be required to sign in upon entry and provide telephone numbers and/or email address
- No more than 10 people per group
- Regularly wash your hands with soap & water.
- Hand sanitiser is also readily available throughout the Club for use
- Clear guidelines of social distancing have been applied throughout the venue
- Avoid co-mingling whilst at the Club and remain seated whenever possible
- Remain seated whilst consuming alcohol
- Every person who visits the Club will be subject to a temperature check prior to entering the Club
- Cashless payments are preferred when making purchases such as food and beverages
- Cutlery, as well as condiments and sauces will no longer be available on tables or common areas and will be delivered with your meals
- COVID-19 Safety Marshalls (identified by a high-vis vest) are on duty throughout the Club each day

In addition to the above our staff have completed Infection Control Training and frequent cleaning of high touch surfaces is performed regularly throughout each day.

We request that if you are feeling unwell or have developed cold or flu like symptoms such as cough, sore throat, fever, runny nose that you stay home and self-isolate until you are well enough to return and no longer showing any of these symptoms.
